A few minutes of prep helps us start faster and keeps your data safe:
- Back up your data if possible — Time Machine or an external drive both work.
- Sign out of and turn off Find My so we can service the device.
- Bring your login password or firmware passcode.
- Note any accessories — charger, dongles, or a case — you bring along with it.
Keeping your data safe
Before bringing in your Mac, please disable Find My Mac and back up your data with Time Machine or an external drive if you can. Some repairs carry a risk of data loss, and a backup makes sure nothing goes missing. If your Mac won’t turn on and you need files off it, ask about our data recovery. We can often pull data even from a Mac that won’t power on.

We accept AppleCare+ and Apple Limited Warranty on all eligible Mac devices. If your Mac is covered, your repair costs may be significantly reduced or fully covered. Bring your device in and we’ll check your coverage on the spot.
